I'm encouraging all the people I work with to start 2017 with a great leadership book and invest in all that this year will have to offer. It's vital to invest in yourself as a leader and remember that the way you approach your leadership this year will have a profound impact on those around you and those who you lead.
Why not start 2017 off with a bang and decide to read one of the below?
Innovation and Entrepreneurship by Peter F. Drucker
This is one of the best books on the two topics i've ever read. Peter F. Drucker has been a thought leader in the management and business world. This book helped build my business knowledge so that I could be an effective leader. You won't be disappointed by buying it and giving it a good read, but if you'd like a good review of this work then please read my review and even add your own comments! Read my full review here.
Follow to Lead by Don Mercer
This Is a brilliant work that has taken shape through the many leadership experiences that Don has had. I met Don several years ago and I could tell right from the beginning that he has a great heart and passion to see people reach their leading potential. This book is very practical and almost like a handbook to help people learn and develop both personally and in a group environment. Read my full review here.
The 360 Degree Leader by John Maxwell
John Maxwell is undoubtedly one of the biggest voices in the leadership sphere alive today. He is an immense author with an incredible sphere of influence and ever since I heard him speak live for the first time - I've been a fan! The 360 Degree Leader is one of his most iconic books and I can't recommend it enough, have a look at some of his other titles too!
Courageous Leadership by Bill Hybels
This was one of my first ever leadership books that I fell in love with. It sounds extreme but it sparked my interest in everything to do with Leadership and while I was in leadership college I must have a read this book at least 5 times (which is a lot for me!). Bill Hybels is a Christian Pastor who has a life full of experience to share around what it means to be a courageous leader.
